Network Requirements

For the CaptiFi plug-and-play device:

Requirement	Detail
Internet connection	Broadband (10 Mbps+ recommended)
Spare Ethernet port	On your router or network switch
DHCP	Enabled (default on most routers)
Firewall	Outbound HTTPS (TCP 443) and WireGuard (UDP 51820) must be allowed

The easiest option: pre-configured and ready to go. Included with every plan, on a refundable deposit of £60, $99, €79, C$99, A$129 or NZ$149 depending on your billing currency.

Bring Your Own Hardware

CaptiFi also works with existing access points, on every plan including Lite.
