Choosing Your Hardware
CaptiFi works with our plug-and-play device or your existing WiFi hardware. Here's how to choose.
Option 1: CaptiFi Plug & Play Device (Recommended)
The easiest way to get started. We ship a pre-configured access point directly to your venue.
Pros:
- Zero configuration — just plug in and enter your PIN
- Dual-band 2.4GHz + 5GHz
- 100+ simultaneous connections
- Included with your plan (£60 refundable hold)
- Full support and replacement warranty
Best for: Most venues, especially those without existing enterprise WiFi.
Option 2: Bring Your Own Hardware
If you already have enterprise WiFi access points, CaptiFi can integrate directly.

Need Multiple Access Points?
For larger venues or multi-room spaces:
- 1 AP: Up to ~100m² / 1,000 sq ft
- 2 APs: Up to ~200m² / 2,000 sq ft
- 3+ APs: Larger venues, multiple floors
Contact us at hello@captifi.io to arrange additional devices for a single venue. Additional venues are added from your dashboard under My Locations — £25/month per location beyond the one included in your plan.
